Texas shooting: ‘At least 27 dead’ as gunman opens fire at baptist church.

Another mass shooting in the Texas, this time its happens in the house of lords mean in CHURCH .

A gunman opened fire Sunday morning at the First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs, near San Antonio. Multiple deaths and injuries are reported.

The Connally Memorial Medical Center said “multiple” victims are being treated

Agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said they were responding to the shooting. An FBI crisis response team is also on the scene, a law enforcement official said

Texas Governor Greg Abbott released a statement about the shooting via Twitter, indicating that the state Department of Public Safety would be responding to the incident. “Our prayers are with all who were harmed by this evil act. Our thanks to law enforcement for their response. More details from DPS soon.”

A law enforcement official told The Associated Press that more than 20 people were killed in the shooting. The official, who was briefed on the investigation, was not authorized to discuss the ongoing investigation and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.

The official said between 10 to 15 people were also injured but stressed the investigation was early and the figures could change. Authorities were still trying to determine a motive.

The daughter of the church’s pastor was one of the victim’s killed in the shooting, her mother Sherri Pomeroy told CBS News via text message.

“My husband and I were ironically out of town in two different states. We lost our 14-year-old daughter today and many friends,” Pomeroy said Sunday.

New York attack: Eight killed by man driving truck

At least eight people have been killed and 11 injured in New York after the driver of a truck mowed down people on a cycle path in Lower Manhattan.

Here are the few facts about the attack-

The vehicle then hit a school bus, injuring two adults and two children on board, and came to a halt.

The driver emerged holding what appeared to be two handguns and made a statement “consistent with a terror attack”

He was shot in the abdomen by a police officer stationed near the scene. NYPD has given response immediately to the attack & it’s also appreciated for that they have saved additional life .

Mr Trump sent out two tweets, saying:

“In NYC, looks like another attack by a very sick and deranged person. Law enforcement is following this closely. NOT IN THE U.S.A.!”

“We must not allow ISIS to return, or enter, our country after defeating them in the Middle East and elsewhere. Enough!”

 Some incidents shake me so hard that I lose context of  writing an article or do anything. I feel stunned by the incident happened on 22-may-2017. A sleepless night of MANCHASTER of people, a Suicide bomber killed 22 at Ariana Grande concert. Where thousands of children’s and young people attending the event. It’s intended to target youth of U.K. It’s shocks every time when this cruel attack happens. But the people of Manchester are proving an amazing show of strength and solidarity amid these terrible events, coming together via social media to offer help and assistance for those caught up in the attack.

Detectives are probing a “network” linked to the Manchester suicide bomber Salman Abedi police have confirmed, as his father and brother were detained in Libya.

Prime Minister Theresa May has raised the UK threat level to the highest possible rating, meaning another terrorist atrocity is expected imminently. Almost 3800 troops have been deployed to key locations.

In conspiracy abedi father and Abedi’s younger brother Hashem has also reportedly been arrested in Tripoli, Libya, on suspicion of having links to the Islamic State group that claimed responsibility for the Manchester Arena attack on Monday.

An unnamed Muslim community worker told the broadcaster that two people who knew Abedi at college tipped off officers after he made statements “supporting terrorism” and expressing the view that “being a suicide bomber was OK”. The calls are thought to have been made five years ago, after Abedi left school, the community worker added.

–The basic question is What do terrorists want? How is a person “radicalized”, & how do we deadlock “extremist” -— only confirms how little we conclude. 

Shooting in school is different, people can clutch the intuition and consider potential reasons of doing something (motivators) such as bullying or insufficient mental health treatment. We restrict/control these attacks by restricted access to guns and schools security. We can stop shooting in the school. 

What is going inside shooters mind- that people are easily broken and sometimes they are breakable for the reason which is also clear to them . This is low–slung idea about about there ideology or religious belief leads towards becomes suicide bombers. Sometimes a group like ISIS or others radicalized groups want to use suicide bombers then they architect ideology to justify and encourage them. But still there is no clear psychological or social criteria by which normal person ideology change to become suicide bombers. 

In 2003 university of Chicago political scientists ROBERT A PAPE argued in his paper What 95 percent of all suicide attacks have in common, since 1980, is not religion, but a specific strategic motivation to respond to a military intervention, often specifically a military occupation, of territory that the terrorists view as their homeland or prize greatly. From Lebanon and the West Bank in the 80s and 90s, to Iraq and Afghanistan, and up through the Paris suicide attacks we’ve just experienced in the last days, military intervention—and specifically when the military intervention is occupying territory—that’s what prompts suicide terrorism more than anything else.

Terrorist groups like ISIS and Al Qaeda are widely seen as being motivated by their radical theology. But according to Robert Pape, a political scientist at the University of Chicago and founder of the Chicago Project on Security and Terrorism, this view is too simplistic. Pape knows his subject; he and his colleagues have studied every suicide attack in the world since 1980, evaluating over 4,600 in all.

He says that religious fervor is not a motive unto itself. Rather, it serves as a tool for recruitment and a potent means of getting people to overcome their fear of death and natural aversion to killing innocents. “Very often, suicide attackers realize they have instincts for self-preservation that they have to overcome,” and religious beliefs are often part of that process, said Pape in an appearance on  radio show, Politics and Reality Radio, last week. But, Pape adds, there have been “many hundreds of secular suicide attackers,” which suggests that radical theology alone doesn’t explain terrorist attacks. From 1980 until about 2003, the “world leader” in suicide attacks was the Tamil Tigers, a secular Marxist nationalist group in Sri Lanka.

ISIS can be reduced to “a religious group with carefully considered beliefs.

” It’s a group whose public expressions of religious motives to serve its secular objectives of controlling resources (oil, opium)  and territory. Virtually all of the group’s leaders were once high-ranking officers in Iraq’s secular military.

For  ISIS terrorism is a marketing tool for recruiting or raise money. It has own banks, print their own currency. 

As University of Michigan historian Juan Cole put it after the Charlie Hebdo attacks, “The problem for a terrorist group like Al Qaeda is that its recruitment pool is Muslims, but most Muslims are not interested in terrorism. Most Muslims are not even interested in politics, much less political Islam.

ISIS is now desperate, and is shifting its pattern of behavior. In October, ISIS launched only eight suicide attacks in Iraq and Syria, when they normally do 30 to 35 per month, and that’s the same month that they shifted to suicide attacks in Ankara, Turkey, on October 10. Then they downed the Russian plane on October 31st, and now the Paris attacks on November 13th. As ISIS’ territory has shrunk in Iraq and Syria, it is now clearly shifting its suicide attack resources out of Iraq and Syria, and into Turkey, into killing Russian civilians, and now also into Paris. 

Towards moving to end I will not write about how this attack happens, every knows already. But point is why this attack happens. This is not based on religious faith or belief. As I studied articles of max fisher, Robert a pape . 

I m still not much clear what going inside in the minds of whether they are shooters or suicide bombers. 

Whether attackers  their either their acts are their own or central mean support by others, the motives is to get some attention and seek to encourage backlash.
