Few days ago I had conversation with a white women on twitter- @harpreetmakkarr .she started following me, her reasons for following me that I shared pic of matt haig tweets published in Indian express newspaper. He retweeted on his account, people liked it and comment on it. So when I said thanks for following me, she replied Love that you shared the Matt Haig quote in your paper, also love that they published it!
So my conversations started with her from where you are etc. Then I ask to her about #donaldtrump . Her reply- A nightmare of epic proportions I literally cannot sleep sometime considering it
I m surprised because I think she is American and Donald trump is good for AMERICA. So she also like him. I said why you hate him she said –
He is a misogynistic has no morals and wants to restrict rights
My reply to her- I said trump creating new jobs, reduced budget deficit, creating strong America. It’s seems that I replied without seeing her reply . She also replied-Jobs issue the result of the past 8 years not the past 4 months
She is actually Smart women. So I m agree with her that trump mocked on women’s. But I m not agree with her that trump is good for business, but mostly for big corporations only.
She unfollowed me. I message to her U unfollow me, can I ask why???
Then her reply to me– Hi Harpeet, it was after seeing you say the women’s match was about hating men. It is not that at all but about standing up to a man whose has admitted molesting women, who does not think women can make their own choices about their bodies and does not respect women. I take that very seriously. And also love men!!!
My replies to her – I didn’t care much about how is following me or not. But I m very serious about my few followers . When u unfollowed me, I m surprised and wanted to know what’s going on. Whether I offend you. So thanks for replying to me. Secondly I agree men do Harassment to women, especially when woman are smart enough to take her stand in India especially, you know jealousy. I m all saying he improves jobs, reduce budget deficit. I didn’t praise him on free speech, Islam phobia or he also molested women. I didn’t intended to hurt to you.
I definitely write about women’s in my life and their importance, i m nothing about my mother and sister. I feeling like that you have judged me as trump followers . I m not brain dead ok
So purpose of writing about this article is actually women get harassed and underestimated by large numbers of men’s doesn’t matter from which countries do you belong.
So I will be on the point what will be the solution, we need that women get equality in every sense.
So I m talking about solution her is an article I have read and effective – 12 steps to achieve gender equality in our lifetimes. #shematters
What I find that we gender equality point should be taught in school, where both boys and girls studied together and share things together. Most important school like only for girls or boys should be closed down. Co- education should require, where both gender communicate with each other. That help than to be comfortable and help to develop better communication skills.
- most important how father/male treating women. If male doesn’t treat a woman well there boy learn that ideology. So it’s very important the environment at home should be proper.
