History of Radio
Through his experiments in wireless telegraphy, Nobel Prize-winning physicist/inventor Guglielmo Marconi developed the first effective system of radio communication.Marconi made the first successful transatlantic transmissions of radio waves in 1901 and 1902
Radio is as medium to promote & access information , which set as benchmark during World War I and World War II.
Nazi Germany
The radio was an important tool of the Nazi propaganda, Nazi transmitting no less than eleven hours a day program during World War II
As German propaganda, minister Joseph goebbels want to seize all opportunities to take benefit and promote the third reich.
As per Joseph goebbels also claimed the radio was eight great power .Joseph goebbels also claimed that —It would not be possible for us to take power without radio and airplane.Radio makes the reach to the entire nation, regardless of class or religion.
So today 13/02/2017 , we are celebrating world radio day internationally adopted by United Nations general assembly.
World radio day was first celebrated in 2012 .
